From Snarky Puppy’s 2014 album We Like It Here, here is “Outlier” arranged for large jazz ensemble
Instrumentation:
- 8 brass (4 trumpet, 3 tenor trombone, 1 bass trombone)
- 5 saxophones (Alto, Alto, Tenor, Tenor, Baritone)
- Rhythm section (guitar, piano (optional synth), electric bass, drum set)
Instrument Ranges:
- Trumpet 1 to concert C6 (higher notes can be taken down the octave)
- Trombone 1 to A4
