Fuse

Description

“Fuse” is an original fusion tune I wrote for the 2023 Apex Jazz Festival in Southlake Texas. It was commissioned by the Colleyville Heritage High School Jazz Ensemble.

Arrangement for large jazz ensemble with 8 brass (4 trumpet, 3 tenor trombone, 1 bass trombone), saxophones (2 alto, 2 tenor, 1 baritone) and rhythm section. Electric bass is preferred, but upright works on this tune as well.

Range & Doubles Information:

• Trumpet 1 range to concert G5
• Trombone 1 to Bb4
• No Woodwind Doubles

Solo changes are included for Alto 1 and Tenor 1, however at the end of the PDF file there are additional solo changes for Eb, Bb, C Treble and C Bass Clef instruments, making this tune accessible for anyone to solo on.
