Fuse

Description

“Fuse” is an original fusion tune I wrote for the 2023 Apex Jazz Festival in Southlake Texas. It was commissioned by the Colleyville Heritage High School Jazz Ensemble.

Instrumentation:

• 8 brass (4 trumpet, 3 tenor trombone, 1 bass trombone)
• 5 saxophones (2 alto, 2 tenor, 1 baritone)
• Rhythm section (guitar, piano, electric bass (acoustic ok), drum set)

Brass Ranges:

• Trumpet 1 range to concert G5
• Trombone 1 to Bb4

Solos:

• Alto 1
• Tenor 1
• Additional solo changes for Eb, Bb, C Treble and C bass clef included at the end of the PDF
